I bought this bungalow overlooking the Hudson River in NY State (near Nyack). It's set on around 3 acres under the Palisades cliffs. I love living here.
wow, that's a hard one to top, especially since it is yours....
so i will throw in an oddity. not really a bungalow but shows lots of characteristics. it is now divided into appartments, not sure if it was always that way.
Then I'll nominate it for you (not that Don intended it that way). Fabulous house, the only downside is mowing the front lawn, I hate pushing things uphill. Is that a garden shed, guest house in the back? Did I say fabulous, yes, some places in the proper setting just give me a serene feeling your place does that for me. What do you know about it? Can you post some interior pics?

Hi.. here's a picture of the living room. I'm thinking of getting the white paint stripped off the interior woodwork - it's dark chestnut underneath. I was just quoted $1000 per window to have the refinishing done! I guess the windows are pretty intricate which contributes to the cost.
Believe it or not, the riverstone fireplace was hidden under plaster for around 30 years.
In the earlier photo of the house, the structure that you can see in the garden is a guest house. I'll post a photo of it later.
Hi...as promised, here's a view of the back of the house showing the guest house. I just had the guest house rebuilt since it was falling apart after years of neglect. It's neat since it's like a miniature version of the main house. The large double glass doors give a beautiful view of the gardens. This photo was taken after the 24" snow fall that we had last week. Our east coast bungalows need to be pretty sturdy!
