the roofline on this house is huge, one of the widest bungalows i have seen under one roof.
but still cozy and inviting... |

I think that is a great place and would look impressive in another location. It has a bit of a bunkerish look there.

not sure i understand about another location... how do you think the setting would reduce this greatly overscaled character? |

By another location I mean in a yard level with the sidewalk, it looks about 3ft below it right now.

Here's a nice one that looks kind of lonely without any neighbors on either side. These vacant lots are highly unusual for this area and I bet they are worth a ton of money.
