I don't know about this one. It looks like an architect's first attempt at an FLW inspired design. Most of it is OK but the roof line is pretty wrong - whats with the false dormers??. I wonder what it looks like inside? This is in the country on a large lot with lots of flat farmland around it, so I assume they were going for a Prairie design; my first impression anyway.

It looks like someone's first attempt at the style. It doesn't work very well--the proportions are all wrong. The roof visually divides the house exactly in half on the left side. That horizontal line does not recall FLR Prairie style houses at all. It doesn't work on so many levels but at least the architect tried.

I can also mention that there appearred to be a pergola at the back that extends out from the house, adding to the prairie look I guess (difficult to get a picture of it). It's a weird house because its obviously a custom design and it has fairly high square footage so the cost must have been pretty high. I wonder if there is more interesting stuff around the back - higher windows, vaulted ceilings inside ??. There must be roof vents at the back I would hope - maybe the dormers are louvred vents of some sort. Unfortunately its setback too far from the road to see the back fully. Unfortunately as well, there is an eye-sore storage shack to one side with lots of 'clutter' piled around it, and beside/behind the garage is a big set of bright yellow plastic playground equipment - nothing wrong with having stuff for the kids but it is a stark contrast.
