Hi, I'm a new member and I am trying quite hard to identify my home. It is a 1 1/2 story, 3 bedroom, 1 bath with kitchen, dining room and a long living room, built 1911(?)( I found newspapers from the 1930's in the upstairs porch walls). All mouldings are an exact copy of the photos Robinovic posted, except that mine are under about 12 coats of paint ( which I am removing). All the mouldings on the first floor and hall of the 2nd floor seemed to have been dark stained, while the bedrooms seems like they were painted from the start. The house also has 2 enclosed porches. The porch on the first floor has the exterior entrance door and interior entrance doors. The porch on the 2nd floor is off the "master bedroom" with interior windows looking in (to the porch) from both bedrooms. This 2nd floor porch had windows all around and is really a shed dormer about 90 square feet. Both porches had cedar singles on both the interior and exterior walls. I wish I could post a picture but I have 2, 60 ft spruce tree directly in front of my house, and it will take some creativity to photograph. If this rings a bell could you point me in the right direction? (This may have been a cottage house at one time) Oh, and one wall corner in the living room is curved. I believe this is original because the 9 inch baseboard (red oak) is also curved - and unbelievable well done. Well anyways, thank-you
Connie

Hi, it's me again. I just called the city and the house was built in 1912. She also said wiring was add in 1932. I forgot mention that there is a fire palace - but it is modern. I found a site that displays "two cheap craftsman cottages"- the house floor plan is like the second, except some rooms are reversed.

Since this does not appear to be a Craftsman home, I've decided to go in a different direction,
Thank-you for you time
