this house is next door to yesterdays stone bungalow.

the foundation stone is the same as the other house, so i assume it is original to both.

the front door, unfortunately is not original...

Don,

I think the horizonal elements of the foundation stones due lend to the feeling of stability. The front door looks as if they eliminate the side lites and filled in with brick. I will start taking images of local bungalow homes while we still have them. There is a wide range of variety here in Tucson. Many of them are located next to the University and most have been snatched up and are being restored.

that is exactly the intent. i hoped to get more people to look around them, pay attention as they drive down the street.

i'm sure there are still great bungalow in every city and town across the country, many in museum condition, but far more in neglect or worse.

the more people become aware, the better chance more will be recovered.

just my thought anyway...
