I'm currently working towards purchasing and restoring a hotel, restaurant and bar. The Falls Hotel once known as The Newberry Hotel was built in 1915. It's listed in the state register as being a classical revival building.
The goal is to maintain it's historical value as a hotel. I have three questions. Is this a true classical revival buiding or is it more of a arts and crafts? What would the original lighting fixtures have been? Would the furniture, dinning room tables, ect have been arts and crafts style? I have been unable to locate any pictures of the interior when it was first opened. I'm still in the early planning stages of this project. If more information or current pictures are needed I have them. Any information that can be shared with me would be great. Thank you

Hello Friend,
First of all, where is this building located, what do you find in the Auditor's office about the ownership and history of the building, and last have you contacted any local residents who can help you fill in on some of the history about the hotel?

By answering some of these questions you may be a little closer to finding out things that you are asking now.

My email address is Ralj7@AOL.com and if you would send me some pictures by either inserting them or attaching them to my email, I will try to help you research the history on this structure.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones
