Hello, I grew up down the street from this house. I'm a long time resident of Hyde Park even though I currently live in Edgewater Beach.

Robie House in Chicago is a national landmark.

Created by architect Frank Lloyd Wright completed in 1909.

A little insight on this by me an old Hydeparker. The Robie House was completed some nearly twenty years after the World's Columbian exposition and is built across the street where the Ferris Wheel once stood back in 1893.

A Frank Lloyd Wright rendering of the Fredrick Robie House. Completed in 1909. Fredrick Robie was a successful bicycle manufacturer, and had the house built for his wife.
