I am a tour guide at the Arms Family Museum in Youngstown, OH. The museum is called Greystone, the former home of Olive and Wilford Arms, and it was built in 1905 in the Arts & Crafts style. I am interested in learning more about the Arts & Crafts movement, and found this website. I'm glad to be here!

hi trish
welcome to the group. there are many resources on the A&C movement. you can start on this site in the forum called: defining the movement. go back some pages and you will find a list of entries by ralph jones outlining the history of the movement. also try www.ragtime.org this site lists many resources as well. http://anc.gray-cells.com/Intro.html is another good reference. and yet more... http://www.craftsmanperspective.com/ hope this gives you a start. |
