Hi Everyone,
I moved to Voysey's Holly Mount in Beaconsfield with my husband Karl and we are in the process of restoring the property.
We have now visited a number of Voysey properties, of which there are 50 in the UK for inspiration. It is a long and expensive labour of love but hopefully will be satisfying in the end. The y have just put a model of the House in Beconskot model village.

Having a Voysey designed house is an awesome responsibility and inspiration. We hope you'll share some pictures! (We live for pictures.) I just found an old image of Holly Mount. Seriously, this is YOUR house?! Wow!

Best regards,
Rikki

It is Rikki- hasn't changed much in the last 100 years. the site won't seem to let me add the picture says this:There was an FTP (file transfer) error. The detail is 'Failed creating the directory '/testdir' error code: 550 /testdir: Disk quota exceeded'.
what do I do?

We seem to have run out of space on the server and plan to move the forum to a more spacious server soon. In the meantime, we beg for a little forbearance. Using Flickr or Photobucket is a good temporary solution and not hard to do. (Open account, upload images. In your post, select the image icon. In a separate window in Flickr, go to the image you want to import, right click and select Copy Image Location. Paste into the text box for the image selector at the forum. Click okay. Post message.) An alternative is to send us the image and we'll put it into Flickr for you.

Thanks so much for the image, Meena. It's a beautiful house. I hope you'll tell us MORE about the restoration process!

R.

Meena,
We are traveling to England next week and are designing a house inspired by Voysey's work. We've been particularly impressed with Holly Mount. Would it be possible to visit the house next weekend? Please email biezem@marist.com if you receive this post before January 16.
Thank you and good luck with your restoration!
Michael

Good Morning Lauren,
Thank you for reinstating the link to the post as I mistook the link after Meena had posted it as an advertisement.

Sorry, Meena about my haste in deleting your link as I thought it to be an advertisement.

Respectfully,

Ralph Jones
