I have 10 acres in Burton Twp and would love to save a beautiful Craftsman Bungalow being destroyed to make a roadway and move it on my property. Can anyone help!

Contact the owner and tell him you'll pay to have it moved, assuming it can be moved, and he might say sure because it saves the demolition costs, as long as you don't hold up the road work. Is it a private owner or a government agency? If its a government agency, contact a parallel department that deals with heritage issues and plead your case and maybe they can put the heat on the other department. Assuming it costs more to move it than doze it down, you will have to pay something. If you're super lucky, and its a government project, maybe they'll subsidize you the equivalent budgeted cost of demolition on the condition/assumption you are saving a heritage building. They might ask for something on title, who knows, like you agree to keep it on the designated property and not sell it at a profit or doze it yourself for future development. Basically there might be a lot of work involved and you might need a lawyer as well.

All this said, do you have any more detail or pictures or anything else?
