I have just purchased a house built in 1906 for the Corning family built by stickley how if it is true do I go about finding the plans. THe house is is perfect condition having sat empty for some 20+ years and seems to be perfectly suited to the Mission style, how would I find information on hime being the architect of this house??

If your city has a historical museum I'd start there. You'd be amazed at all the information they'll have. If not, I'd start by visiting your local public library and then the city building. Many times these locations will have information about houses and other buildings that were built in the past.

Hey, talk to David Rudd (rudd@daltons.com)of Syracuse,NY (he's an anything Stickley and mission expert) or Mike Danial, (history@Stickley.com)the Stickley Corporate Historian. David has been a mission antique dealer for over 20 years and has a column in Bungalow Magazine. Mike travels all over and lectures on the history of Stickley. His knowledge of all the Stickley family and their furniture companies is phenominal. He also knows a lot about Gustav Stickley's houses that he designed. I know that the current Stickley company likes to document houses like you own.

Syracuse is only a few hours away from Corning. Take lots of pictures of your house and go see both guys. They love anything mission and are always willing to share their knowldege.
