Anyone attending this event next month?

If you have been before, do you have any observations or tips to share?

We plan to attend for the first time this year.

My wife and I have been attending the conference since 1997. We were completely blown away the first few years. The rush at the opening of the antique show is so intense and busy, that you could probably lift your feet and be dragged along with the frenzied crowd. Be sure to buy the events pass that allows you to participate in all the conference events and seminars as there are always many experts sharing their vast knowledge. Try to stay at the Inn, but it usually sells out a year in advance. There is a waiting list you can get on if you don't already have accomodations. If you are planing on buying, try to have shipping figured out ahead of time, although there are some pack ship options. The antique show is completely seperate from the contemporary items, so there should be little confusion as to what you are looking at. Dont be afraid to ask questions of the dealers and vendors. Most are very helpful.

We went to the antique show last year and look forward to the whole conference this year.

You are right, the show was intense. However, it was very exciting to be surrounded with so much fabulous A&C "stuff"; we don't come across much of it where we live.
