Well, stonecat your right about all the attributions except the rocker. Actually I can't tell you your wrong, because it was unsigned. Very well could have been bros but we kinda had our doubts. The LJ stand did sell on saturday, we had it marked $895, books not included. The LJ bookrack didn't sell, and that was marked $495 I think.
I don't know who made the cane sided stand. It's unsigned, but there is a single tack still under the lower shelf, so I think if there's any attribution it should go to stickley bros. The sideboard is signed shelbyville wardrobe manfacturing co, out of indiana. Plant stand was unsigned but pretty sure it was lakeside. The lamp table in the back is unsigned, the footstool to the right is bros, and the costumer is unsigned. Thanks for the compliments guys. We sold 14 of these items, mostly small stuff. |

The caning thing seems to have happened around 1914 based on the S. Bros. catalog and another reference I have for Ramsey Alton, aka Oakcraft, also doing this in 1914.
Shelbyville Wardrobe - don't think I have that one in the list - now added |

That rocker looks like a Harden to me. This is an exact match for the Harden Rocker being sold Sunday on E-bay live auction for Forsythes Auctions. They start the bidding at $300 and expect to sell it somewhere between $600-$1000.
http://cgi.liveauctions.ebay.com/3-HARDEN-WAVY-ARM-ROCK...967QQrdZ1#la-image-1 It may be unsigned but there in no doubt that it is this rocker. Bev. ![]() |
