Just wondering if anyone is planning to attend the semi-annual Rago/Cohen Craftsman auction, March 8th, and 9th, at Lambertville, New Jersey? Thanks. Tim

I previewed it last week. I took notes on several furniture pieces (for myself and friends), so if you want info let me know -

Dave,

Welcome to the forum. I see you are a metalsmith as well. Great to have you aboard.

Fred -
Not a metalsmith, but a woodworker. I like to make repros of high end Gustav Stickley pieces. I also collect the antiques, which is why I previewed the auction. Lots of nice stuff there.

I just noticed that the auction results are posted on-line. I quickly scanned through some of the items. It seems that as usual, the more unusual stuff really sold well, with the more common items realizing the lower end of the auction estimates. Thanks. Tim

How about that Roycroft candelabra that went for over a hundred grand? I'd rather have a nice Van Erp lamp for the money--or a good down payment on a house(!).
