This rocker was found at an antique store-through a flip of good luck I got the chair for free! It was refinished by me because the original finish was marred by areas on the chair back that looked like something had been dripped down it and destroyed the finish.(Mistake to refinish or not?) The chair was in good shape except for a loose joint or two which was repaired when it was refinished. The seat is a drop spring seat which has to be reupholstered. The seat that was on it when I bought it was raised high with a big piece of foam rubber and definitely NOT the original material (UGLY!). I've ordered some material from Stickley to have this recovered.

The shop mark is on the underside of the arm rest and says, "Binghamtom Chair Company Morris Chairs Rockers Binghamton, NY." Handwritten in the middle is the number "258."
