Yes, there were so many companies that made generic Arts & Crafts furniture that it's nearly impossible to identify. Collectors really only study the top makers in detail in order to indentify unmarked examples, so there are many, many makers whose work just fades into history as it were. Some of the stuff is well designed and built; it just doesn't have the collector appeal that Stickley, Limbert, etc have. Your desk looks nice and is typical of other generic pieces I have seen/owned from the period.
